The SelfBack mobile application has its own privacy policy. This page covers the website, selfback.app, which collects far less. If you have questions about either, write to gdpr@selfback.dk.
These pages set no cookies and store nothing on your device. That is also why you are never asked to accept or reject any — there is nothing to consent to. Our advertising landing pages under selfback.app/lp/ are the exception: they carry their own notice, and the advertising pixel there loads only if you opt in on the page itself.
To see which pages are read and how people find us, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service operated by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia, which stores its data on servers in the EU. Plausible works without cookies. It records the page you visited, the site or search that referred you, and your country, browser and device type — and nothing else. It does not follow you across other websites or devices, and it does not build a profile of you.
Your IP address is used only in passing and is never stored: it is combined with your browser's user agent into a one-way hash that changes every day, which is what lets one visit be told apart from another. The analytics requests are served from selfback.app itself rather than from a third-party domain, but the data behind them is still processed by Plausible as described above. Plausible runs on this website only — the SelfBack mobile application does not use it.
If you fill in a contact or support form on this site, the details you enter — such as your name, email address, organisation and message — are sent to our team so that we can reply to you. We use them for that purpose only, and we do not sell them or pass them to advertisers.
Some parts of the site are served by third parties: fonts come from Google Fonts, some images from our content delivery networks, and the map on the clinic finder from OpenStreetMap. When your browser fetches one of those files, that provider necessarily sees your IP address as part of delivering it. We embed no advertising, social media or session-recording trackers.
